My specialties

Career Professionals

You may be successful on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected internally.

Health Challenges

Medical diagnoses and chronic health conditions can impact more than your body—they can affect your confidence, relationships, and sense of self.

Grief and Loss

Grief isn't only about losing someone. It can also come from major life changes, shifting identities, or the loss of the future you imagined.

Relationships

Together, we'll explore patterns, boundaries, communication, and the relationships that impact how you see yourself.

If you’ve spent years being the person others rely on, the one who keeps things moving, solves problems, and takes care of everyone else, you may have reached a point where you feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of what you need for yourself. Maybe you’ve built a career you’re proud of but feel overwhelmed behind the scenes. Maybe you’re navigating grief, adjusting to a health challenge, experiencing a major life transition, or finding yourself stuck in relationship patterns that no longer feel healthy.

You may find yourself wondering, “When did I lose touch with myself?” or “How do I move forward from here?” Whatever brought you to therapy, you deserve a space where you don’t have to have all the answers. A place where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin reconnecting with who you are and what matters most to you.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Craaybeek. I help adults who are ready to better understand themselves, heal from life’s unexpected challenges, and create a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or uncertain about what comes next. You may be the person everyone else turns to while quietly wondering who is taking care of you. Therapy offers a place where you can finally set down some of that weight and focus on yourself.

Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, understand the patterns and beliefs that have shaped you, and develop greater self-awareness, confidence, and resilience. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, honoring your unique story while working toward meaningful change.

I believe every person is more than the challenges they are facing. Your experiences, relationships, values, and strengths have shaped who you are, and therapy should honor all of those pieces. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, I meet you where you are with curiosity, compassion, and respect.

Whether you’re processing loss, navigating a difficult relationship, adjusting to unexpected changes, or simply longing to feel more like yourself again, therapy can help you reconnect with your strengths and move toward a life that feels more balanced, connected, and aligned with what matters most to you.

My style

I believe meaningful change happens when therapy feels safe, collaborative, and authentic.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we’ll explore the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that have shaped who you are while helping you reconnect with yourself and what matters most to you. Whether you’re navigating grief, adjusting to a health challenge, feeling overwhelmed by the demands of your career, or struggling in your relationships, we’ll create space to better understand your story, build emotional resilience, and develop the confidence to move forward.

I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. Many people come to therapy after spending years being the person others rely on, carrying responsibilities, and pushing through difficult moments without taking time for themselves. My role isn’t to tell you who you should be or what choices you should make, but to walk alongside you as you discover your own strengths, needs, and values.

Sessions with me are conversational, thoughtful, and tailored to what you need. Some days we may explore difficult emotions or past experiences, while other days we may focus on building skills, gaining perspective, or finding practical ways to move forward. Therapy is a space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin making changes that feel meaningful to you.

Together, we’ll build a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, compassion, and curiosity. You don’t have to have all the answers when you walk through the door. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and leave each session feeling a little more understood, a little more confident, and a little more connected to the person you want to become.

My guiding principles

Connection

Healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued so we can work together toward meaningful growth and change.

Acceptance

I believe every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth. No matter what you're struggling with, you'll be met with compassion, respect, and support as we work together toward the life you want to create.

Whole-person Care

You are more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Together, we'll explore the experiences, relationships, strengths, and challenges that have shaped your life and help you move forward with greater understanding and self-awareness.

We might be a good fit if…

  • You’re the person everyone counts on, but you feel emotionally exhausted and overwhelmed behind the scenes.

  • You’re grieving a loss, a relationship, a change in your life, or the future you thought you would have.

  • You’re adjusting to a health challenge or diagnosis that has changed how you see yourself and your life.

  • You feel disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or what you truly need.

  • You want therapy that feels collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you discover your own path forward.
