MEET raven campbell, LLMSW

Let’s help you feel grounded and at peace again.

Raven is accepting new clients in both Kalamazoo and statewide in Michigan for virtual sessions.

Living a life where you feel like you can’t ever turn off, or feeling like “rested” may never describe you again doesn’t have to be your norm. A life filled with purpose and safety can be yours again.

We can get there together.

Hi, my name is Raven Campbell! I help girls and women who feel weighed down by the effects of trauma, PTSD, or complex trauma reclaim a sense of safety, self-trust, and confidence. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck in survival mode: exhausted from overthinking, struggling to feel safe in their own bodies, and unsure how to move forward. Together, we work toward creating a life where you feel grounded, resilient, and at peace.

Trauma changes the way we see ourselves and the world, and it can feel like no one truly understands what you’re going through. I believe there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all healing journey. Your story, your pain, and your strengths are unique, and your healing should be too. I meet you exactly where you are, and together, we take it step by step so you can feel empowered to move through life with confidence and clarity.

We’ll begin by understanding the roots of your pain, including the beliefs, experiences, and patterns that keep you feeling stuck or unsafe. From there, we’ll work together to process and release what’s been holding you back, while building practical skills to manage triggers, regulate emotions, and strengthen your self-worth. My goal is for you to not only heal from the past, but to feel free to live fully in the present.

My style

I am dedicated to helping you feel safe and free to be you again.

Therapy with me will have us exploring long-held thought patterns, practicing skills to help you manage overwhelming emotions, and discovering new ways to respond to challenges so you can feel more grounded and confident in your everyday life. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can bring your full self, including parts that feel too heavy to share anywhere else.

I know how isolating it can feel to question your worth, doubt your decisions, and carry invisible wounds. When we work together, you’ll not only have a therapist with the training and experience to help you heal, but also an ally who understands how hard this can feel and will walk alongside you every step of the way.

My guiding principles

Safety

Therapy works best when you can be completely yourself. I will never judge your thoughts, feelings, or fears, and I will always work to ensure you feel supported and secure.

Collaboration

You are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll create a plan that reflects your values, your needs, and your goals… because healing should be as unique as you are.

Compassion

Healing requires self-kindness. We will focus on replacing shame and self-criticism with empathy and understanding for yourself.
